3.8 at 85 mph

Well we finally got our 5k lb truck into the 3s . Ran a best of 3.81 but was consistent between 3.84 and 3.88. Trying to fix the video on the 3.81 run as its a little blurred. Here is a video of this past weekend at avenal. Just wanted to share

60ft in the mid to low 1.5s . Pretty consistent at 1.55 to 1.59. Been a best of 1.52. Deffinetly has a mid 3.7 in it the way it sits now. We ended up hurting the blower on the last pass and it's only at 21 psi right now. We can go to 30 psi but want to stay easy on parts for right now. Truck weight is just at 5097 lbs. Hp is well north of 2k. Next will be a glide and chain drive. It'still running a turbo 400 aand a stock 205 transfer case

Why get rid of the turbo 400? I would think with that heavy of a vehicle it would be hating life going 1:1 on a pass.

If the truck stays the same weight it will stay 400 with a chain drive. If it gets put on a diet it will be a glide and chain .

Wow! Nice. Running low range? Way back when, I took out the 400 and put in the glid. It was 2 tenths faster. (4.7 to 4.5) I already had a chain drive with the 400. Rear gear was a 6.50. I was a little liter than you, and way down on power. But 400's have come along way sense then. A friend of mine is getting a 400 built that can t-brake in 1,2, and 3? What will they come up with next. This place recomended a 400 vs a glid due to he wants to drive on the street a little. If it was solely sand, then a toss up. He'll be making power like you, close to the same weight. He still has the 205 also.
Got a little talky there, wow.

All good. Was just wondering. 8-) That's a very quick truck for the weight. Nice job!

Axles are a 9inch n the rear and a 44 infront. Both were built by fearless gear here in fresno. Gears are 536 in the rear and 513 in the front. Hp i near the 2400 mark. No Dyno close to us that reads over 2000hp. Wasn't going to take it 8 hours away for a dyno that could read higher lol. We maxed the 2k dyno local to use very easily so we are guessing 2350-2500ish
