My Early Bronco build, never ending project

Postby 357Bronco » Thu Apr 21, 2011 4:18 pm

This is what it looked like last year, as you can see, body panels are big on the list.Steering upgrades, and new wheels and tires are in the works. Then I finish getting it wired, install wipers, exhaust and get ready for some street time.10 years should do it, give or take.Image

First project this past winter was a hood. I had an old ( from the early nineties ) glass hood that was in rough shape. I needed more clearance for the air cleaner, so I got a glass cowl from Summit and went to town. Image

Time and money Darryl, if I can find a little it may at least be flat black. As good as your photos are, I should make it more presentable.

With a couple weeks till racing starts, seems like a great time to change the c- bushings, and upgrade the steering linkage and knuckles. In all the parts swapping, I ended up with some ch#%y parts in there.Image

Hell, I like how it looked in the first picture. All business!! I love that body style though, should look killer when you're done.

Got through the season, gathered some parts, and have some ideas. Looking forward to some time in the shop, and getting it closer to the street, and maybe a little quicker at the track. Will be updating a little more often, I hope. Scott.
