To update, the hood, door inserts and fenders are getting closer. Taking alot more work to get everything to fit together, and be functional. Trying dzuse fasteners to hold on the fenders, not necessary, but will make maintenace/ repairs easier. Also started making my own "cal tracs". Got a quote for nearly $500.00 for a custom set made, sure they're worth it, but I have more beer then money and I like welding and drilling holes in things. Will post pics soon.

Worked on my "Scott Tracs". Lower brackets done, upper almost done, just need a couple more holes. Waiting for tube inserts, and a length of heavy wall tubing. Also heard my new rear tires are on the way.Image Image

Traction bars are done, will test and tune and see if the front plates need to drop down farther for adjustments, that was all I had for steel in the shop at the time. Also the door inserts are in and this weekend I start on the fenders and hood.Image

A year is too long to go with no updates, I failed. Pictures and details coming soon. The traction bars are working, and have been updated since last season. Lots of stuff planned for this year.

These are the second generation forward brackets. These bars work and lift the entire truck up about 3"s front and back. No wheel hop and no more spring wrap. The only downside I've seen is if the track has a real ruff starting line the bars can unload then hit again. It feels like it's coming off the ground. I was thinking if I went to a trans brake the bars would defiantly hold up.Image

Nothing too exciting has been done lately. Made an aluminum fan shroud, moved some wiring around and painted my suspension bars and brackets. Might be ordering my front rims from CMS soon to match the back. Also going to twin stick the transfercase so getting it out of 4x4 everyonce in a while will be easier.

Not really a whole lot to update on. We raced the ten race season at Ossipee Valley fairgrounds, and wound up second in points in the Street / Middle Eliminator class. Had a lot fun and am hoping to have some time and money to keep moving forward. We changed some things at our track with grooming and watering which really benefitted the Bronco, I ran some fast times ( for me ) on the throttle stop trying to stay in the class.
