Got a couple hours in yesterday to get the engine in and hopefully centered up. Got a few framerails mocked up. They still need a small bend in each one and cut to length.

I've been travelling so I haven't touched this in about two week. Put in a decent day today and got all the uprights and cross members tacked in.

I got some better pics I'll post later. Let's just say, she's skinny.

This tube used to be about 13" wide. It's now 8.

Looks good Mike. Why the change to narrow it up?

That's just kinda how it ended up after bending, even though I pretty much matched the old bends perfectly. I kinda liked it, so I'm going to give it a try. I'm going to have to change the layout of things in the front, like the fuel cell. But I wanted to clean up the front anyway. It was cluttered.

It's hard to believe my last post is over a month old and I don't really have much more to show. We've been doing more family and house stuff, and I've had tons of tires to ship. So this has been slow at best.

Made some bolt on A-arms. Though if these get bent I'll probably do something different anyway. Oh well.

Then spent the better part of the past two weekends welding it all up. I'm not the best, but I've certainly seen worse:

And here's the finished project. Just a few tabs and brackets left to weld. Then some aluminum work that I've already started on.
