I'll get the timing set today and adjust the idle and carb.
the aftermarket floor shifter doesnt work right, so i had the converter not bolted in. i got the column shifter hooked back up later with a kit from LMC.

WOW firk'in awesome!

i haven't put anything up here for awhile, that truck has been my passion sense last August.
all the work i have done is in a engine (which is needed) changing the transmission and converter to a non manual valve body, got rid of the slippery converter, gear ratio which was a axle swap (cheaper that way, but it took time) and other things you can't see.

i am nearing completion!
working on the AC and heater now believe it or not!

i wonder where them tires and wheels went?

i discovered they had the front axle gas shocks on the steering and the steering shocks on the front axle, i have them back to where they belong now.
the gas shocks were too long, they bottomed out and caused poor turning radius.

I saved these axles life's from rotting away. found them near me for $300, put around $450 in them, real nice now, gears all looked real good. GM 14 bolt rear and GM 10 up front
Santa brought me some new lock out hubs.

this project is nearing the end. the brakes are new from the vacuum booster to the rear wheel cylinders. someone had the lines hooked up backwards, front feeding the rear, rear feeding the front. i put in a nice pre bent brake line kit from In Line Tube.

changed the trans and converter to a street version, axles are now 3:73 i found some like new 36" Super Swampers i picked up to use on the street. I'm saving the like new 15.5 35" Mickeys for the dunes, they dont make that tire any longer, i dont want to wear them out.

some recent of the engine with the new valve covers. i had to modify the valve covers, the corners hit the firewall.

doing my part keeping UPS and USPS in business.

i had to buy this glove box insert for a sample to build a aluminum one (it was $12) when i checked it's fit i discovered it is plenty strong enough to hold a radio. it sets on the AC unit.
Image

i can operate this with a remote, play songs off my phone, talk on my phone, and satellite capable.

Image

I have rock and roll, i had a 400 watt amp picked out, i bought this 600 watt on ebay instead!

Image

i took out a old cassette player, i found this stock AM radio on ebay for $26, trying to keep the dash stock looking. no plans on hooking it up.
