Ummm.....that's different.

This is what I have and it works really well. My shop is about 30x40. It has 3 bays and I have a wall separating 2 bays from the third. The two bay side stays really nice. I keep it at 50 when I'm not out there and kick it up while I'm working. I know I didn't pay this for it, but I've had it about 7 years.

by looking at it i would think a small fan would be better, the quarrel cage fans move some air.

whats a water heater cost now a days, $300?
I'm going to try to remember this :D .

I have a similar system in my pole barn, its a fuel oil water heater that I converted to burn used motor oil, so the heat is almost free. The hot water is also tied into my in-floor heat. It works good but I just got the barn up and haven't insulated it so haven't used it a lot this winter just use my small garage that has a woodstove.
