We all know that's a sweet ride Tony. Did you get the transaxle with it?
You have plenty of power plant options via the "adaptor Kit"
Is this Tony's car to race? .... and is or did Frank buy a long car?

Frank is doing a long car right now. he is using everything out of this car for his new one except the rear axles.
This car has a Winters quick change. plan on putting a glide up to it.
His new car will have the same axle.

I sat in the car and fit real good! but it is for the kids :(

if it is slow enough, I'll take it for a spin sometime.

Sounds like a Twin Turbo V-8 is a good compromise! Keep us posted!

your not the first one to suggest that.
I have never seen a twin turbo SBC, there telling me they can get 1200-1500 HP out of one

do they stack the turbo like a diesel of 1 turbo per bank?

Roger Jereo has a dragster with a EFI BBC with twins, one per side. I think he said there stock 5.9 Cummins Holset turbos, he has got into the 3.30's I think.

edit, good ol google:

If you don't have any conventional SBC stuff to start with, you'd be better off to go the LS route. You'll build big power much cheaper. Tim Patton still hasn't got all the tuning into his truck yet, and that thing is flying. It's a single turbo LS with a carb.

Bill sonderman had the Gravel record for a long time with a twin turbo 302 chevy and it wasnt anything exotic flat tops with stock block and dart iron heads!
