Rear suspension setup

Postby Bushchook » Fri Sep 12, 2014 6:59 am

Hey all fellow Sandragers
Require a few hints and tips how set up my four link with anti roll bar,
So far I have done front wheel alignment caster angle 3 degrees positive (top of strut towards rear of car) slightly towing out 1mm. As far as the rear goes I basically have the angle of the link rods on my instant centre line and 1 degree negative on the diff pinion. The rear coil overs are Q1A with only compression adjustment on the shock and 185lbs springs. And the anti roll bar in its neutral position.
So basically the coils and spring tension is what I am after.
The car is a ford ute which will is due to come out the spray shop and then test and tune.
He are a few of the following car spec
Ford ute
Clevo 393
680Hp@5000rpm with 525lbs of torque
Trans Coan C4 with trans brake
4.56 diff ratio I originally set it up for the 1/4 mile and will only be 1/8 mile now so I know I might have to change ratio here.
Cheers Bushchook from down under
