The michigan crew sent some care packages to chad over seas this weekend, we knew ohios favorite marine would love some army stuff, some sand drag pics and all kinds of other stuff- even threw in some light sabers so hopefully we get some pics of what i can only imagine would be some awesome duels.

Its pretty easy to send stuff over via the United States Postal service- I am only picking up a litte bit on how things are over there from Dave and Lisa but there is alot of stuff those guys need so contact Dave or Lisa or just take the twenty minutes of your day and throw some stuff in a box and send it to chad or someone else you know, I dont think any of us can ever truly appreciate what it means to be in that situation and not have even some of the basics.

I'm hoping Chad is home this summer and will be up in michigan for the big race so we can truly show him some good old fashioned appreciation along with any of his buddies. Big thanks to Dave and Lisa for shooting notes out on how hes doing, he is in all our prayers and we cant wait for him to come home.

Here is a link to something that really put in perspective how missed some of the folks are that spend time abroad, the home comings are pretty spectacular...

May 1st Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep...one less terrorist this world does keep...with all my heart I give my thanks...to those in uniform regardless of ranks...you serve our country and serve it well...with humble hearts your stories tell...so as I rest my weary eyes...while freedom rings our flag still flies...you give your all, do what you must...with God we live and God we trust....Amen
